(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 GLPFFL intra-divisional showdown, *SteamRollers beat a strong *GIANT RAT team by a score of 120.40 to 106.80, extending the winning streak for *SteamRollers to 6 games.
*SteamRollers were led to their 13.60 point victory by a 22.75 point effort from Jerome Harrison, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 148 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD. They also got help from a 18.10 point effort from Andre Johnson, who snuck past the Miami Dolphins defense for 71 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. "We'll use this win as a stepping stone to the next level," *SteamRollers coach Steve Bradshaw said. *GIANT RAT were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.30 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 286 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 20.30 point effort from LaDainian Tomlinson, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 59 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 4 receiving yards. "Our defense was a non-factor," *GIANT RAT coach BK said. This brings the record for *SteamRollers to 11-5, and drops *GIANT RAT to a record of 8-8. | ||
