They also got help from a 15.44 point effort from Eli Manning, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 296 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 6 rushing yards.

"This team always seems to find a way to win," Rice Riders coach Andrew Sykes said.

The Conshohocken Curve were helped out in a losing cause by a 26.90 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 142 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 37 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 4 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 24.52 point effort from Kurt Warner, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 313 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 10 rushing yards.

"They wanted it more than we did," The Conshohocken Curve coach Peter Stephanos said.

Compounding the issue, The Conshohocken Curve could have scored 107.02 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Peter Stephanos left key players like T.J. Houshmandzadeh and his corresponding 9.10 points on the bench.

Rice Riders took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Rice Riders to 7-6, and drops The Conshohocken Curve to a record of 5-8.
